Yes, ash will collect and build up over time. Start by running it under warm water as you would an ashtray. Stubborn stains are easily wiped away with a cotton swab in a dab of rubbing alcohol.
Your Douser™ is hand-made using Aqua-Resin, Gypsum and Acrylic based composite. They are very durable and can take a fall.
